Privacy policy

This policy explains what the owner of Options Mood collects through the Options Mood website and portal, and why. We handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

Your name, email address and mobile number (if you give it); a secure hash of your password; the plans you buy, payment amounts and payment references; and sign-in records (time, device type) used to keep your account secure and enforce device limits.

What we do not collect

Your broker connection (your Upstox, Fyers or Angel One token, and the Angel One client ID, PIN and authenticator code you type to sign in) stays in your own browser and is sent only to your broker. We never save your PIN or authenticator codes. If your browser cannot reach Angel One directly, those requests are relayed through our server to Angel One as they are, without being stored or logged. Your trading account details, real orders and holdings are not collected. Portal settings such as your watch choices, alerts and Telegram details are stored only in your browser.

The practice (paper trading) account and your chart drawings are saved in your browser and, so they follow you between your devices, on your portal account. They contain only the practice orders you place, their prices and results, your practice-account settings, and the lines and notes you draw. They are never sent to your broker and are deleted with your account.

How we use it

To create and secure your account, confirm payments and grant access, contact you about your subscription, and meet legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Advertising and cookies

Some public pages of this website (not the paid portal) may show ads from Google AdSense or another ad network. These ad partners, including Google, use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads from Google at adssettings.google.com, and from many other ad networks at aboutads.info/choices. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Our own sign-in cookie only keeps you signed in.

Who processes it

The website runs on Cloudflare. Online payments (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets and auto-renew) are handled by the payment gateway you choose at checkout (Cashfree, PhonePe or Razorpay) under its own privacy policy. We send the gateway your name, email address, mobile number and the amount, and we receive the payment result and reference, not your card, UPI PIN or bank details. Payment receipts are emailed through Resend, which receives your name, email address and the receipt. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account exists and for up to three years after it closes; payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete your data, or to close your account, by writing to our support email. We reply within 30 days.
